"You could 'dare' ask for much more and I would give it to you gladly," it's always a strange dance, with him, how sometimes he can say something relatively innocent and laden it with enough innuendo just from his tone to make it scandalous, but he can say something like that not coldly, of course, but lightly, as though it were of little consequence.

"I would be a poor host, indeed, if it were beyond my ability to see you had an extra blanket or two or some additional firewood," the corner of his eyes crinkle more than he outright smiles, "You are my guest here, and a dear friend. Camp Dragonhead may not have the luxuries of Foundation, but I'll not have it said that House Fortemps doesn't know how to host a distinguished visitor, regardless."

It doesn't seem to bother him one bit that she's wanted for murder. If anything, it seems to be something he finds attractive, or at least amusing.
